The DaFang DF033 MINI Wall Sanding Robot is the sanding edition of the DF033 MINI. Its job is the step between putty and paint: sanding skim-coated walls flat from 300 mm above the floor up to 3,600 mm, with a sanding head of up to 800 W that takes sandpaper from 60 to 320 mesh.
DaFang gives a sanding rate of up to 60 m² per hour at a removal depth of 0.1–0.5 mm. Putty sanding is repetitive, dusty work, and moving it to a machine cuts the time crews spend standing in sanding dust on commercial and industrial building projects.
The robot weighs 80 kg in a suitcase-sized body of 600 × 550 × 1,050 mm, built to be moved between floors and deployed quickly. DaFang's L3 autonomous driving uses laser radar and visual cameras to detect obstacles and issue warnings; the chassis moves at up to 400 mm/s, positions to within ±10 mm, climbs gradients of up to 25° and crosses gaps of up to 40 mm.
Site managers follow the work through DaFang's digital cloud services, where the app and the web portal show each robot's location, status and progress.
