The UBTECH UWORLD U1 is a full-size, ultra-bionic humanoid companion robot from UBTECH Robotics, launched under its new consumer brand, UWORLD. Rather than industrial labor, the U1 is engineered for emotional companionship and social presence in the home, bringing engineering matured across UBTECH's industrial humanoid programs into an everyday consumer setting.

Lifelike construction is central to its design. The U1 features realistic silicone skin, natural hair, and camera-tracking eyes, with 88 degrees of freedom for smooth, human-like movement. It ships in two full-size variants: a male model at 183 cm and 42 kg, and a female model at 168 cm and 35.2 kg. Both can stand, sit, and walk on flat indoor surfaces using taught gait patterns.

At its core is emotion-oriented intelligence. An onboard AI reads conversation, tone, and facial expressions to gauge the user's mood and respond with encouragement or dialogue, supported by a growth-based model and locally encrypted memory that keeps personal data on the device. Powered over Wi-Fi with 2 to 4 hours of battery per charge, the U1 suits companionship, personalized conversation, and lifelike reception or social demonstration. It is a closed companion appliance and does not support custom programming.
