- Gripper Fitted as Standard Booster lists the P2's end effector as a gripper, so the robot can pick up and place objects out of the box rather than waiting on a separately specified hand.
- Middle Configuration of the Professional Range Sits between the bare-wristed P1 and the dexterous-hand P3 — grasping capability without the control complexity of a multi-fingered end effector.
- 31 Degrees of Freedom The shared T2 body provides 31 joints in total: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist and 2 at the head.
- Thor T5000 Onboard Computing Thor T5000 compute with local air cooling keeps perception and control loops on the robot itself.
- Binocular Vision at Head and Waist Binocular cameras at two heights, plus a microphone array and speaker, with LiDAR listed as an option — the sensing needed to find an object before grasping it.
- 2 m/s Walking with Two-Hour Endurance A listed 2 m/s walking speed and a 48 V, 10 Ah battery giving roughly two hours of continuous walking, enough for extended mobile-manipulation sessions.
Description
The Booster T2 Professional P2 is the gripper-equipped configuration of Booster Robotics' T2 humanoid development platform. Like the rest of the T2 series it is built for embodied AI research, education, RoboCup-style soccer development, manipulation experiments and real-world humanoid application prototyping.
The gripper is what defines this build. Booster lists the P2's end effector as a gripper, fitted from the factory, which puts the robot in the middle of the three Professional configurations: more capable than the P1, whose end effector is optional and whose wrist arrives bare, and simpler than the P3 and its 6-DOF dexterous hand. A gripper is the pragmatic answer for teams whose manipulation work is about the whole task — walk to the object, perceive it, grasp it, carry it, place it — rather than about the fingers. It is easier to control, easier to model and easier to keep working across long experiment runs than a multi-fingered hand, and it lets a lab start collecting mobile-manipulation data without first solving dexterity. At approximately 43 kg, the P2 carries about a kilogram more than the bare-wristed P1.
Everything below the wrist is the shared T2 platform: a 140 cm body with 31 total degrees of freedom — 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist and 2 at the head — running Thor T5000 computing with local air cooling. Booster lists binocular cameras in the head and waist, a microphone array and speaker, optional LiDAR, and Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB, locking Type-C and Ethernet connectivity. Walking speed is listed at 2 m/s on a 48 V, 10 Ah battery giving approximately two hours of continuous walking.
Booster positions the T2 for robotics laboratories, universities, AI developers, humanoid soccer teams, autonomy research groups and organisations evaluating embodied AI, as a base for whole-body control, perception, navigation, interaction, manipulation and application-specific software development.
Every unit is sourced new through established distribution channels and arrives with the full manufacturer warranty. Robotix Market ships worldwide; after-sales support is coordinated with Booster Robotics' service network, and no on-site installation or commissioning is included.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is a professional humanoid development platform for embodied AI research, education, RoboCup-style soccer development, manipulation experiments and application prototyping. The factory-fitted gripper makes it particularly suited to mobile-manipulation work where the robot must navigate to an object and then pick it up.
Booster lists the P2's end effector as a gripper. That is the defining difference from the other Professional builds: the P1 lists an optional end effector and arrives bare-wristed, while the P3 is fitted with a 6-DOF dexterous hand.
All three share the same 140 cm, 31-DOF body, Thor T5000 computing, binocular vision, 2 m/s walking speed and 48 V, 10 Ah battery. They differ at the wrist and slightly in mass: P1 approximately 42 kg with an optional end effector, P2 approximately 43 kg with a gripper, P3 approximately 43 kg with a 6-DOF dexterous hand.
